Apologies, I see this error on here before, maybe I have more I can add.

Received the X32 to replace a x4, of course went down and started putting it all together. I am having the problem of the red exclamation under Z. Following the guidelines in the forums. I have rechecked wiring, even went so far as to run a temporary wire outside the loom directly to the x32 to be sure there was no wiring issues. I have rechecked to make sure I have the coils identified, I have incrementally changed the pot and restarted with no change. If I try to move the Z axis it errors (error light and a small jitter from the motor).
Motion was not a problem on the X4, I even connected the X4 back up and it moves just fine.
Now I am back to square one.
X4 = all motion on all axis works
X32 = only X and Y motion moves and works fine with no errors, Z errors

I have not even opened up the X32, so no internal changes have been made.

    Any other suggestions?

connect X motor to the Z socket and see if that moves ok
if it does, then Z motor /wiring is a problem
if not, then contact the store for proper diagnostic of the X32 and possible replacement

I plugged the X Drive into the Z on x32 and it would not work, same issue.
I plugged the Z motor into X on X32 and then tried to move in the X axis and the Motor moved perfectly.

    Emailed Support.

    Thanks Guys

"I have incrementally changed the pot and restarted with no change." - as I wrote above.. Z current adjustment comes from factory at mid point, X and Y are good from hookup, only Z has been changed to no avail. Current adjustment is on the potentiometer, hence why I called it a "pot" sorry for the confusion. I will try again on the current adjustment, but last time I spent about an hour moving just a hair from low to high.
