Maybe I did not look hard enough but where can I find information on how to hook up and run the x32 and the touch as I have built my own cnc router machine with a spindle. I Did watch one video of each on YouTube but I dont think it was very descriptive unless I missed something. The other question is do I still need to run the stepper drivers that came with the nema 23 stepper motor kit I bought off amazon?
X32 hook-up: docs:blackbox-x32:start [OpenBuilds Documentation] and within those instructions you will find how to hook up the touch plate. Hopefully you used a 24V power supply for your build.
If it came with a power supply (even if it is 24v) do not use it. Those cheap LED PSUs lack power filtering and cause damaging surges that will void the BlackBox warranty Check the motors electrical specs. Ours are 3-6v coils, any higher and they will accelerate badly 1-2mH Inductance, higher and they will have slow top speed due to self braking back-EMF 1.7-3.0A current, higher will lower available torque. Work your way through BlackBox Documentation: https://docs.openbuilds.com/blackbox-x32 Interface Documentation: https://docs.openbuilds.com/interface Also checkout the Software Overview docs:software:overview [OpenBuilds Documentation]
Thabks for the reply i am going to check this out now and Sorry I meant the cnc interface touch not the touch plate.
these are the kits I bought spindle Amazon.com Nema 23 (doesnt give me much info as far as voltage and current goes) Amazon.com
