I pull up my drawing into cam and select the operation for laser operation, for some unknown reason it is not compiling the drawing . The cam window is not showing the version nor following through. Just sits there???

I am a little confused. What do you mean by "not compiling the drawing"? Are you saying that in OpenBuilds CAM, when you are creating the gcode by selecting a vector and telling the software that you want to cut with the laser that it is not allowing you to create a tool path?

Or, are you working with a really large and complex file so it is taking a long time to open?

    All toolpath parameters entered correctly?

Include a workspace export (Save Project OBC file from top toolbar) for review

Can't help until you provide the Project file as requested

Everything tests fine here, so you'll need to provide a Project Export

So we can load it up, see what you have, where the error comes from and suggest a fix for you.

Your description is even to vague too work from. Would love to help, but you aren't coming to the table providing the info we need

CONTROL and CAM are seperate applications :) - updating one can't fix the other. Only CONTROL has "updates". That way of thinking is the equivalent of if the plumber worked on your pipes, and you develop new electrical problems.
