Hi, My xyz probe was working flawlessly until this afternoon... No led and signal anymore. I think I have checked everything: No loose wire I have changed all the connectros Pluged a limit switch in the probe port of the blackbox x32 and test on troubleshooting of control. Works fine A standard z probe works well Any idea of what could be the issue? Thanks
Its a very simple device. SIG = the magnet, GND = plate. Multimeter in continuity mode to check. When magnet touches plate, SIG = connected to GND. No active electronics in between. SIG literally wires to the magnet (directly) and GND wires to the plate, also directly.
I'm kind of ok with you Peter but for sure this probe is dead... The issue is after the wires. In the video you will see that I'm just changing with a new probe and it's working. Why all of a sudden this happen is for sure a question that may have a to be addressed to your tech crew. I can send you the defect one if you want. Now I'm just telling me "how long this new probe will last..." 100€... I just want to say thank you to http://conucon.de which has sent me a new one for free just by trust of my explanations. This is a great shop for EU.
