I need help, I have tried 3 different ways of formatting USB drives to use with my CNC interface from openbuilds and the only USB that works is the one that was provided.

Did I get a junk interface?

I have tried verbatim FAT32, LS active partition manager, and USB disk storage format tool 5.3.

Also based on other threads tried to format as 512byte sections to no luck.

    They are 4GB USB2.0.

Does the included drive work? If so Interface is fine.

Just grab a standard drive of the shelf and plug it in. Messing about with the formats not needed, most <32gb driver comes preformatted in the correct format from the factory.

Avoid super junky drives - often far east suppliers sell cheap drivers for "promotional" use advertised as say 4gb, but onboard it only has 128mb flash and fake firmware to report its larger than it is.
