Any idea why I’m getting the distortion on the x axis? Worked fine before rotary. Rotary is on y axis
There is a formula for the ratio for design graphics on a rotary due to the artwork being on a curved surface. Sadly I can not remember it. You can probably get and it on the Lightburn forum if no one else chimes in. It could also be that your y rotary axis calibration is off a bit .
A and T shows the distortion well, look closer: Looks more like the way he has the cup mounted allows so axial movement while rotating. Static 2-wheel rotator I assume? (Chuck would be better)
It is a static 2 wheel rotary, I’m having trouble wrapping my head around the rotary causing it, the text is lengthwise on the cup so parallel to the x axis. It seems like I have drift on the x axis the way the “583” numbers are blown out. Maybe I should rotate the rotary 90 degrees and try perpendicular to the x axis?
As the static spins the cup, the cup isnt really constrained well. It moves along its length as it rotates. That style of rotary is notorious
