    Hello,

    The lead 1515 struggle continues..

Gave up on being able to use the interface, and now the Z motor won't work. Just makes an awful sound and won't turn the screw. Any ideas? Wiring is all correct, swapped motors around and the only one that won't work is the Z motor. Super frustrated with all the issues we've had with this machine.

Noticed there's a red light on the z axis button on controller (x32) is this indicative of an issue? Photo attached

Yes, you might have a short circuit so check the wiring (power OFF!) first.
If you are sure there is no short turn the current down - docs:blackbox-x32:currentadjustment [OpenBuilds Documentation]

That is the 2nd controller they sent me. Plugged in the original one, and the red light is not on. Everything is wired correct, everything tight in the terminals. X and y work just fine, but still slipping in the Z axis. I give up, reached out about a return so hopefully able to just send the whole thing back.

Doesn't seem to matter which controller box I use, the issue remains the same. Have rewired everything follow the video, checked things with multimeter and without one by twisting wires together. Just doesn't make any sense and super tired of trying to figure out. Frustrated and unable to find a solution it appears.

You mention rewiring. But we mentioned adjusting current down?

Is covered in docs:blackbox-x32:currentadjustment [OpenBuilds Documentation] = 2nd half of the page, about halfway down
