Hi everyone. I am begrudgingly selling my custom CNC machine, which I built on the OB LEAD 1010 platform from 2022-2023.

This machine is plug and play with Open Builds Control and comes with:

    • ~30x30" x up to potentially 8 to maybe ~10-12" Z carving area
    • High-torque NEMA23 stepper motors (1.9N.m 2.8A)
    • BlackBox 32 Control System
    • Open Builds Remote Pendant
    • E-Stop Button
    • Limit switches on X,Y, and Z axes
    • 48x48" pallet racking base / machine stand
    • Custom Electrical panel with Auto-On Dust Extraction 5HP VacMaster Vacuum (wall mount, includes 5G bucket and Oneida separator)
    • Huanyang VFD
    • Several Custom 3D printed Dust Skirts
    • Pivoting dust arm
    • Water cooled Huanyang 120V 2.2 KW 24,000 RPM 3HP Spindle Motor + Second Spare Spindle motor
    • Spoil board (has a divot where epoxy stuck to it - needs resurfaced but I can take care of that for you)
    • Custom Spindle Fluid cooling system (submersible pump, 5G bucket, Summit Racing aluminum transmission fluid cooler plumbed in and mounted on machine stand racking) - I have been running RV antifreeze but you could do water if your shop is insulated.
I am asking $2,500 because of all the spares and customizations and extras (and time). If this is unreasonable let me know and we can chat about it. I will accept cash only. Located in Truckee, CA, on I-80 between Sacramento and Reno - local pickup and no shipping obviously.

I am selling because apparently my wife thinks this winter her car belongs in the garage (joking). I don't use the machine enough anymore as I have been making larger works of 3D map art that necessitate the larger size of the ShopBot 4x8' machine at the makerspace where I work and teach (Truckee Roundhouse).

You can see some of the maps I made on this machine and the Shop Bot at https://www.instagram.com/terraligna.3dmapart and TERRA LIGNA. I built this machine to be able to do the 3D finishing steps on my maps to run for 12+ hours at a time.

Here's a few pics, I am happy to post more if anyone needs. If you have questions, please write me through DM or via my website.

I found a bunch of parts that I’ll include, easily $500 worth.

extra carts extra 8020 extruded rails, hold down clamps, and I think even spare stepper motors if I can find them.

I already have plenty of CNC machines, but you got me interested in checking out the instagram page and sadly both your link and the one on your web page result in this:

Maybe it is a temporary thing, but thought that you may want to know in case it isn't.

Thanks for providing the link. Those are some great carves. I love the mirror. I need to do one of these for my favorite backpacking spot near Mt. Jefferson. Sadly I was planning to go up there once more this year and I just looked and it is on fire. I am not sure how since it just burned about 8 years ago and it has been wet, but it is.
