What is the value of your $32 setting? (Laser mode)

If it is enabled (1) set it to disabled (0).

Extinguishing arc is usually related to
    - air pressure too high
    - worn consumables
    - cut height too high
    - wrong consumables (using drag cutting with a clear cut nozzle or cutting high with a drag nozzle)

The torch goes out because it's 1/8 and when it slows it runs out of metal and goes off.
It has been cutting fine with square and circles .
I was cutting 3/16 and when it slowed in the curves it was not a problem but when I dropped to 1/8 the torch would go off in the curves.
I un checked the ARCS box and it cut fine.
Now with these new shapes I am having problems.
What can I do to help you All to help Me?

Make sure that it is set to 'disabled' (and don't forget to save the change). If it was 'enabled' it could cause the torch to switch off at slow speeds (depending on how you're controlling the torch).

for plasma, laser mode must be disabled

then in Fusion360 you need to enable smoothing and set the value to a useful amount, try kerf width as a starting point.

In short, the torch is slowing in curves because Fusion360 is generating thousands of short Gcode moves, and it takes time to process those thousands of lines of tiny moves.
Smoothing reduces the line count, the lines don't need to be shorter than the kerf width, so you can fiddle with settings till you get lines of about that length.

    How long is a move?
Gcode moves from the postion of the previous move, to the position of this move
    G20 ; inches
    G1 X-5.5691 Y0.4451 ; from here
    G1 X-5.5669 Y0.4900 ; to here

The length of the move is sqrt( (x1-x2)^2 + (y1-y2)^2)
    sqrt ( (-5.5691- -5.5669)^2 + (0.4451-0.49)^2)
sqrt ( 0.0022^2 + 0.0449^2) signs don't matter since we are squaring so I have left them out
    sqrt ( 0.00000484 + 0.002)
    sqrt(0.00202)
    = 0.04495"
so, about 1.1mm in this case

the controller has to do that calculation (and more) for every line it gets, while simultanously driving the motors and checking for errors etc.
a long sequence of 0.04" moves is usually ok, a long sequence of 0.004 moves will slow it down and that is not ok.

thanks a lot. Went back into ink, scape and smooth out my drawing. It works fine now.
