Well I changed my work area around and went to a metal work table and such so i made some changes to it for my router and my 48watt/24watt laser. I was tired of having to adjust my laser frame height if I had to do bricks or run my rotator. So, I decided to make an adjustable work height inbuilt to my table. I was also tired of having to pick up the cmc router to vacuum under it as well as to work on it as well as wanted an easier way to setup on longer pieces. I did a telescopic mount for the cmc router and I think both mods worked out well. I made the lowering work surface remote controlled and built a com control setup.
I added a pull out table and then did some space savings with my vinyl machine being mounted to the table also but on a set of slides and a vinyl spool holder below the table.
Thanks, that was my dad's originally and I just refurbished it as I have old tube record players, jukeboxes, amps for my stereos, antique radios and such and probably a couple of hundred spare tubes. LOL I also have a crap ton of old test equipment, much Is till use some from sandia labs from the 1940's. this is my latest acquisition:
I love the sound of tubes, I have 2 different desks in my work area one has a digital setup and the other is tube based with a pair of kg3's and a Carlson sub with a digital amp I built with a vacuum pre-amp. I also have a see burg jukebox that all my audio and tv goes through with a lava dac and a pair of s3000 allegro's as remotes. I list to vinyl on a 1958 Magnavox phono. I went deaf in my left ear last year and now have to wear hearing aids (neurological pathways issues) and as I was going deaf I went looking for a tube record player and found the 1958 magnavox for $30 it stall had the cleaning clothes new in the bag.
