I am trying to understand why my pocket tool paths always do a mix of clockwise and counterclockwise cutting. Is there a way to ensure it always cuts in the directions want? The router rotates clockwise from top view cnc mounted, so for the cleanest cuts I’d think I want my tool paths to all also go clockwise so the wood is fed into the bit. If I were routing by hand that would always be the path I go, so trying to understand why pockets don’t seem to allow you to make them follow a single direction.

What CAM are you using? It is usually possible to specify one way or the other.

I can specify climb or conventional in the options, but it doesn’t actually seem to change it

https://github.com/OpenBuilds/OpenBuilds-CAM/issues/65 was a bug a while back, so if it came back thanks for the report, will reopen
