Hello, first time I'm trying to use external drivers with a grbl (MKS DLC32 Max) controller and I'm having no luck.
Can't seem to get any torque to the motors.
I'm using a 15 amp 24vdc PS that powers the controller and the X axis, and 3 5amp 24v for the other axes.
    controller to driver:
    S -- PUL+
    D -- DIR+
    E -- EN+
G -- to all 3 grounds for the above.

All wiring seems to check out, measuring .9 ohms across each coil in all motors. Measured at the controller end. I have 18awg shielded for the motors.
Using DM542T drivers all set to 5v.
The Z axis is the only one working well. The others don't have enough torque to move the gantry or X axis and no holding torque at all even with $1 set to 255.

What am I missing? Find it hard to believe all the drivers are bad so it must be something I did wrong.

Why not just use the one 15amp. Have you tried that?

Also, have you contacted Makerbase Customer Service? They may be able to help. It may be a known issue.

I have tried only the 15 amp first. Didn't work so my first thought was it wasn't providing enough power (4amps to each motor plus the controller) so I added the other PS's. No change.
The drivers I'm using are active low for enabled so the second post probably doesn't apply. I ordered different drivers to try and waiting for delivery.
