What software allows your to v-carve? And anyone good with post processsors? background. I have access to a small cnc at the school that I work at. So I have access to an old version of vertic vcarve desktop. I have been using this for awhile but decided to build my own cnc. I have everything up and going and was going to cut my first piece. This is where I ran into trouble. I found out that version 9 did not have the the openbuilds post processor, I went into the documentation and downloaded the post processor. The problem is anytime I run it after placing it In the post processor folder it crashes. I did see the other option is to just use the grbl post processor. Is there anything I need to do different then. What of the other Softwares allows you to v carve. I do most of my designing in adobe illustrator and then import it into the other software to just set up tool paths. I hope this makes sense. Thank you.
We use docs:software:vectric [OpenBuilds Documentation] VCarve is worth it - nothing better for v-carving But DeskProto and Carbide can do it too
