Reading about the TinyG and stepper config had me scared...been watching video and reading forums for days...still scared...scared was a waste of time, had these things configured and running in less than a half an hour! This stuff is pretty awesome...My big parts order is on its way...then the REAL fun begins...I am making plates on my Bridgeport right now...
They're not too bad to hook up and get running. It's always a good feeling seeing those motors move for the first time. Remember to not remove motor wires or change any jumpers while it's powered. Congrats on your progress thus far. Hope to see you cutting soon. Joe
Thanks! I found out what just one little tiny stray strand of wire can cause! Now I know why they use crimp ends at work on the ends of wire that go into screw terminals! It doesnt take much to screw with the motor signals! UPS has a big box of parts enroute!
