I would kill right now to have a 3mm hex key bit, driver or t-handle. It's surprisingly difficult to find some of these.

Thanks. Yeah I knew Mcmaster would have them, but I hate dealing with them. Used to use them at my old job, engineering builds, on a weekly basis and the website annoys the heck out of me. I just found a t-handle on ebay and grabbed it. Still wouldn't mind a 5" or 6" bit for my drill though. After about 15 minutes with the standard key you realize what a PITA it is, particularly if you are developing a frame from scratch and might have to later go move stuff around.

I have a 3/8 socket drive Allen set. Its a bit over kill for 3mm and the length is pretty short. I might have to sacrifice an old Allen key to put it in a drill chuck.

I cut the 'L' off a standard Allen key. It's a lot easier to insert bolts by hand as you can just spin it between your fingers and then use a normal 'L' shaped key to tighten.

You can get an inexpensive set of t- handle metric via Harbor Freight ($6.99). I have a set and have had no issues with them. Well, other than constantly misplacing them.

Wow, you don't like the McMaster website? I can't think of a better website for buying technical goods tools. I used to be a purchaser and spent $5000-10000 a month at McMaster nothing else can compare to me.

I tried to buy from these last year and they didn't want to take my order as they "don't take any new customers"...
