I just got a new MK3/4 controller with Dq 542 drivers and I am wondering if there is a straightforward wiring diagram for this combination using Nema 23 high torque motors , All from Open Builds. I am really new to all this and had no problems with wiring the cncv2 pro. Has anyone used this combination? Hate to fry a new board first time out.

    Hello @pappydan
Please have a look over the Mk3/4 user manual - http://planet-cnc.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/CNCUSBControllerMk34.pdf
There is some helpful info there.
Also if you still have problems wiring it up be sure to ask Andrej on the Planet-CNC support forum and he will be more then happy to show you how to get this controller wired up.

One thing to keep in mind is to never connect/disconnect any wires when the power to the board is on.
Hope this helps to get you up and running

    Thanks Mark,
I think I have the wiring figured out now, I'm new to this. I started off with the C-Beam (great little bundle by the way) and then I started making it bigger and more complicated. Trying to learn Cad/Cam, G CODE and build and modify the machine all at the same time. Just a lot of brain things running around in my head. Sometimes I just get into Information overload. I must have watched your cbeam video 25 times. Video was great by the way.
