@Mark Carew is there any electronics and assembly drawings available for the Phlatprinter?

I suggest splitting them into chapters about 15 to 20 minutes long. Once they are on youtube you can set up a playlist to play them all in order, but do make sure that the names are consistantly named and numbered. And retain enough resolution to be able to read the needed stuff.

Hey there all - I am looking at building a 'better' design, I have a running CNC using the "Build Your Own CNC Machine" book and am not happy with the longer term wear and tear. While looking around, I came across the OX then the PhlatPrinter designs. I like the look and space saving design of the PhlatPrinter however The OX looks very solid and easyer to build - couple of questions:
Are the PhlatPrinter III Build videos available anywhere???
What is the maximim width sheet that the PhlatPrinter can take?? (Sorry - just found this design today - still researching)
What would be the biggest size you could go to with the OX - Full sheet size?? - 4' x 8' (1200mm x 2400mm)
    Many thanks in advance
    Taz

Max cutting width on the Phlatprinter is 27". The build videos were on a DVD and came with the Phlatprinter kits. The Phlatprinter was mainly designed to cut foam for RC airplanes but it will also cut through wood but it isn't the best for that.

Hello , today I received the phalatprinter laser cut MDF 6mm . Fis a change in the initial design , took the fittings where will the nuts , so I lowered the cost of laser cutting, the details greatly increases the number of cutting hours. Now I begin to identify the parts and paste. I'm in doubt toothed pulley large and small how many teeth have and what step the timing belt ?

The bearings are U groove bearings. I am not sure the diameter of the bearings though.
I think you mean the Y axis and the Z axis. The X axis are the rollers.

If I could find the video I would ship it to you but I don't know where it is. Did you ever talk to Mark about getting you a video.
Also you should be able to get the measurements from the Sketchup file.

Hello Mark, have the U groove bearing specification, used in MK3 phlatprinter, I can not find the sale in Brazil and I'll see if mind. In Openbuilds parts, so has Wheels V, U do not have to buy from you.

    Angelo,
Maybe you could do a hybrid. Use openbuild parts to make the Y and Z axis. It should not take much work to attach the extrusion to the wood sides.
This way you would not need the U bearings.

And what is used to raise and lower them and steel or aluminum? At the tip of each pressing axis will a bearing? I did not understand yet how he and mounted.
