I'm sure it could be done.... But not really the right tool for the job.... slow and light passes would be key to success... Bob
Hi, stainless steel works quite well with trochoidal milling - even rather soft machines can do it: Obviously the more rigid the machine the better - but it is surprising how well even very soft machines perform. Make sure to get a tool specifically for stainless steel. Tools for aluminum will work well at first but their thin and exposed cutting edges dull much faster. Christian
