I am building a 1000 x 1000 x 250 Router. Has anyone used this kit for powering their CNC. 【USA Stock】 USB CNC 4 Axis Nema23 Stepper Motor 425Oz.in Dual Shaft & Driver Kit Thanks, Bruce
Here's an open source question that goes a bit beyond the original question. When trying to source parts there can be a crazy amount of options and prices! Plenty of nema motors, andreno boards etc... it's generic could be a good product off named at a good price or a piece of junk overpriced to f-up the more expensive is better minded. Buyer beware x2 or 3 or more! I'm reminded of the " the frugal man sometimes pays the most" phrase a salesman friend of mine loved. I'm designing my first build and overall cost is a do or not do issue. I'm a construction guy and believe in a strong foundation. This is not the place to cut the budget to the bone. But how do you make - define a good choice?
it might be just find but if you run into trouble much easier if you use openbuilds parts store products.... Bob
That's what I'm thinking - trying to say. I'm new to the build world. Trying to get started and not break the bank at the same time. I've read a lot - much more to read, seems a lot of headaches come from poor quality, mismatched stuff etc... there is too much to learn getting started to mix in the confusion of poor - improperly working budget componants. I do believe Openbuilds is a trustworthy resource but even they buy and self brand parts. I have confidence in products they support. Getting used to the pros and cons of an open source world has a learning curve. That's my last comment, not trying to hack the tread.
