    @oni305
Your plates are headed your way again.
I went today and complained and they shipped it for free at their cost, but they refused to cover the tracking option :(
You should have them in 2 weeks max.

International shipping is proving to be a pain
UK and US zero issues :/

    Almost done :)
I have 2 more plates to mill then your order is done.
It's bin nuts at the day job and my metal supply delivered some not so nice plate as one side was scratched up bad and would require a lot of post milling work to meet my standard.
I will PM you when they are done, prob by sat night and will be ready to ship Tuesday because of the long weekend.

Sorry guys/lady's it's taking longer then a week now, the line up is long

These plates look amazing. Are you able to produce these on your OX or are you using a separate milling machine? If you do use a different machine, what kind of quality can the OX produce in comparison?

I'm using a diffent mill to make them and still have yet to cut anything with my OX as the driver boards are taking for ever to arrive.
I have 3, the 4 has decide to take the long way to my house :/
So I can't answer you with confidence but soon enough that's for sure

Thanks for the fast response :) With your knowledge of other milling machines then do you believe this design would be able to compete with the quality?

As you can tell I don't have much knowledge of using milling machines though would be interested in a machine that can produce similar results with aluminium.

I would say yes as Mark with the right bit was able to mill his own name plate that I designed in scetchup, note his Z also was not held in position due to the type of controller he was using yet had great results.
The unit is very solid feeling and the first thing I will be trying to mill is aluminum when it's complete :)
Btw Ty for the kind words about my plates :)

The set has small imperfections that are only cosmetic, bit chatter or a hickup in code.
A fare discount is given on them :)

Hi, Are the files for your plates still available? I only see Front Brace L and R, Name, and Spacer Block on the "Files" list of this build.

Also could you pm me your price for a full set of plates w/ your fantastic belt design? Thanks

I was having issues with my metal supplier but took care of that on Monday so I have some stock on hand now for a set.

From now on its a first come first milled basis due to the overwhelming orders and all of my own projects.
I must pick up end mills and postage supply's
I will start milling sets and when 1 is ready to ship, it will be posted.

    Hello everybody,

I am about to build my own version of the OX, and have no garolite easily available, so aluminium plate will be my choice. I have no 1/4" nearby, but 6 mm plate. (1/4" = 6,25mm)

I was wondering about the stiffness of the plate, as 6 mm is a bit less than 1/4". Will it be enough, or would it be better to move up to 8mm plates (which seams massive to me) ?

    Thanks for your suggestions.

While going from a 6.35mm to a 6mm plate will result in a loss of stiffness of approximately 15.6%, I doubt you'll notice.
