Hello , All is in place , i'm just waiting for a second lcd screen to replace the first one ( i broke it ). Fisrt print should be done next week . I'm pretty experimented with filament , but it will be my first time with resin ..I can not wait to try .
Very cool and interesting! What is your total cost for the build, approximately, if you don't mind me asking?
Hi, really interesting design ;-) bravo! can you share how work your tilt, don't really see it on the pictures, thanks.
What are you using to spread the light out evenly through the back of the screen. I have been rounding up parts for a smaller version of yours (based on the Utopia 3D Resin Printer ) after I finish another project, and just waiting for a fresnel screen. Not sure how good it will be, while others have used mirrors to spread out the light. Would be interested in what success you have with a larger screen.
It would be great to see how the cam pulls the vat/lcd away from the build plate. It isn’t obvious to me how the vat is mounted to the top plate and how it is free to pivot. - Doug
Dunno if your still on the forum but i have some questions. Why a Tilt system? and is't 395 a bit low for the UV? or do you have good results? Speeds/ress
395nm is about as low of a wavelength as you will be able to pass through the LCD screen without it being filtered out heavily. Most UV resins will cure just fine at 395nm, just slower.
