I am a VERY NEWBIE and have only recently in the last week found this community. I am sorry for the newbie questions but I can't seem to find the answers/parts that I am looking for or think I need. I am wanting to start a build with 20mmx40mm v-slot. I am looking for the T-Joint and 90 degree angle joint plates that will fit over the entire 40mm space. In other words, I am looking for the dual slot plates. I can't seem to find these parts on openbuilds. I am attaching an image with the plates highlighted. I appreciate any advice or direction that anyone is able and willing to provide. Thank you so much.
Here ya go. 90 degree angle plate Edit: Well, after I looked at your photo again, I see the one you are looking for has two rows of screws. The one I sent you to only has one row for each rail. I don't see the double row one at the store. Sorry.
Actually I prefer a drill press with a fence and a stop and a small collection of 20mm shims. Drill a hole, pull a shim, slide the plate, drill a hole, pull a shim, slide the plate,... (you get the picture). Short lengths of 20x40 extrusion make the perfect shims as they can be either 20 or 40mm. Aside from setting the fence for the first hole on the first plate there's no measuring involved. Shims in both the X and Y directions make any configuration easily achievable just by pulling shims.
