I'm in the process of spec'ing out a machine that requires dispensing along with XY-Axis control. I know the X PRO v3 can use bluetooth but are there any other ways to communicate with this card to send real-time commands? The X PRO would be connected to an UNO that would be controlling nozzles so would prefer not to drag in BT since they would be sitting next to each other.
You should be able to connect the xpro through usb and use a controller like grblpanel to control it. Then use an output to the uno to open and close the dispenser. I think both voltages are 5v. Then you could use a gcode command as operator for the dispenser. So coolant on/off from the xpro to analog input on uno. M8 to open M9 to close or vice versa. I think this would work, but not entirely sure.
