    I have an old table saw..so all I need to do is invest in a 8" or 10" aluminum cutting blade...

    yeah i got a cheap 100 tooth 10inch one on ebay cuts great, but a fine tooth woodworking carbide blade works great as well. Just make sure to square everything up real well and use a nice solid crosscut sled if you have one (if not build one). go slow, wear safety glasses!

    i'd rather preserve the fine tooth woodworking blade for wood

    ...and hook up a vacuum if you've got one else the shop will look like it has been glitter bombed.
