This build summarizes my CNC milling and laser engraving machine conversion from a dimensional lumber frame and electrical mess to an all aluminum frame with a safe and well constructed (IMHO) control system with the resources I had available.

    This was a very cool build to read about. So neat to see how you evolved from a simple machine that was very home brew to a more finished and complex buildas your funds and skill set grew, while keeping your eyes on the bottom line.I very much doubt that I could have done the same job in the samw way. Your new control box is outstanding from what I could see. Congrats!

    Thanks for the positive comments. I have really enjoyed this and have found what I believe will be a lifetime hobby. I plan to continue updating the build post as I keep working on my punch list. I have limit switches on hand and have completed a proof of concept probe system and tachometer. I am also plan on detailing my alignment and calibration procedures as I find that is what lacks the most resources online. Thanks again.
