I'm running a Lead machine and all was going good now one of the Y motors will reverse. I can move it 2 clicks at 10mm then one reverses. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Are you sure they are both going the correct direction? disconnect the screws and make sure they are both going in the same direction first.
Also some details, would be helpful for troubleshooting, the software and the drivers you are using for example.

    Cheers
    Gary

I'm using openbuild controller. I was just out working on it some more and I'm mot sure if one reverses or just stops moving. they both move in the same direction for 20mm then this happens.

    openbuids controller? xpro maybe?
Most likely a loose or broken wire connection to that motor.

Any luck finding the problem. I am having the same problem with the Sphinx 1050 I just finished building.

Always start your system (first start) with nothing connected and get everything sorted and moving correctly before connecting the couplers to the screws.
Typically it's a loose motor connection (or the poles are not properly paired) or the current is set too low, which causes the motors to be jumpy and noisy and randomly work or not.
    Cheers

I finely got a chance to check out my Lead, and Gary was right there was a lose wire. All is working good now. Thanks again Gary.

    Cheers.
