What are your plans to control the height of the torch? I have built an OX to be used as a plasma cutter as well, I can't afford a THC so I am open to ideas for height control for the torch. Nice build by the way.

    Thank you :)

I am using MyPlasm CNC controller.

It has THC built in, also software is included and creator is very helpful and active, so I think it was good deal.
    Proma-elektronika

Later I will try it with other controllers, it is described here:
    Plasma THC - LinuxCNC

Also Stefan Cymbaluk covered a little about it and thanks to him I found it:

This was my first choice and I don't know any other solutions.

    EDIT:
Maybe this solution will fit your needs:
A very entry level Torch Height Control from cheap available parts

    Hello
Really good job , i think i will modified my floating head and add your proximity sensor.
I try to use some THC , but was not really happy with it .
On small size ( my maximum cutting size is 1300x1300 ) , i prefer to do Z Zero every time the move is higher than 25 cm.
It is done by my postprocessor in sheetcam . So my cutting height is good on all my cut .
For my next table , i think i will try plasm cnc controler who seems to work really fine
