hi, I’m looking to mount some 20x20 as a wall mounted rail and need some brackets. I’ve not found anything so far and think 3D printing won’t be strong enough and milling likely to be too expensive as I need about 24 minimum. Has anyone found any?
Without a little bit of a sketch to show how you intend mounting it, what about some L Bracket with hiltie screws into the wall?
Thanks, here is a photo. Ive considered the 3 hole plate but need slots on the wall holes for adjustment. I also need to keep the top, bottom and outside channels clear for a mini-v gantry plate.
You could always go with a V-Slot® Gantry Plate - 20mm. It solves the adjustment issue but gets expensive real quick. If you've got a chop saw you could always shave a leg off a triple L-bracket. No matter which way you go you will probably need to add a Slot Washer - 15x5x2mm between the wall plate and the rail to prevent conflict between the wheel nuts and the wall screws.
Thanks for your input. I think I may have found a temporary solution. It’s a din rail bracket. It’s 20mm high which is a bit much but it will do the job for now I think! The hole is m6 and it has slots! I’ll need that washer though!
You could just use short lengths of din rail set vertically. It has the slots you need and doesn't stick out nearly as far.
