Mark, Thank you for the reply. I have watched the build video a couple more times and found that I am also missing the 4 main end plates the hold the main frame together and that the y axis motors mount to.

    Hello Mark
I received the missing parts today, thank you. Unfortunately I have a new issue that I had to send the parts store a message about. I have found that the z axis end plates have an issue with the flange bearing mounting holes. I measured the bearings at .630 and the holes are .628, this is .002 too small. I checked the x and y mounting holes and they are fine.

The holes should technically be undersized, otherwise the bearings would just fall out. If truly is that big of an issue, just take some 320 grit sandpaper in your finger and lightly sand around the hole.

You clearly don’t have a good understanding of the issue, this isn’t a freeze the bearing and press in type of situation. The bearings are held in place by the locknut. Following the video instructions you are to slide the bearings into the holes in the end plate. The x and y axis are fine. .002 is a lot of sanding, I didn’t pay all this money to manufacture the parts myself. This is becoming very frustrating, 5 major parts missing, two more not made correctly and terrible labeling of parts. It will be a really good machine if I ever get it built.

    Hello Bruce
I see you have already reached out to the Part Store with this issue and I will let the Team take it from there. They will work with you to get you the parts you need.
It really is a great machine and there are a lot of folks out there who are up and running and having a great time. Don't lose the hope it is a diy machine that you will understand inside and out once you have it running.
We wish you all the best with your build and look forward to seeing your projects.

If you think the world of cnc will be all sunshine and rainbows, you have a lot coming. The missing parts is one thing, but expecting to never have to do any kind of finishing work is another. You're in for quite the reality check.
