Kind of a newb to building a cnc , not a newb to operating. I really want a to get a 1500x1500 OX together does anyone have a complete parts list I want a fairly rigid machine. Thanks for any help.

Right you need to go to, Forums - Helpful Tools - OxCalculator. Thanks to our man Serge.E.
The next place to go is, if you haven't already been there, - Builds - Ox CNC Machine, and watch the very informative Videos. Thanks to "The Man" Kram242 i.e. Mark Carew

Whilst others have built many variations of the Ox. Big ones and small, you need to consider the jobs, and therefore bear in mind, the demands you intend to make of it, and therefore the expanse and area you intend to cover.

Keep Researching and don't hesitate to ask for any help you may need. Everyone here, has been at the beginning of this trip, and are very keen to help.

Thanks a bunch. I have studied the regular OX quite a bit , I am concerned that the gantry would be the weak point in the design and instead of reinventing the wheel I was wondering if anyone had any designs of a beefed up version. Thanks for the calculator it will come in quite handy.

I am thinking the same as you. I am thinking about something like this, solid aluminum "carts" for X travel and acme rod for Z travel. z-axis-02.jpg cart-03.jpg
