I have a lead cnc and havent had an problems in the beginning. but now I have a problem that has stopped me in my tracks. ever time i run a gcode it stops in the middle due to disconnect / port closed. I cant get an error message because its a disconnect. If I manually jog around it never happens, only when running code. But ran the same code dozens of times and it hasnt screwed up before any ideas as to how / why I could be getting this issue?
Power saving settings on your usb port more than likely. This is common and has been discussed around here quite a bit. Here's a thread that explains it a bit more and also provides some other reasons like EMI and how to fix it. Port Disconnect
