Hi, As the title says, I'm looking for an Adjustable Hinge for the v slot 4040 profile. After some advice here I am scaling up from 2020 to 4040 and the only component I cant find anywhere is the Adjustable Hinge for the 4040 v slot. 4040 Adjustable Hinges exist for t slot, but for the life of me I cant find one for v slot. Can anyone help/advise? I need the hinge to join profile end to profile face, the problem being the single flanges on the t slot hinge plate dont marry up with the v slot double track Do i just mod a t slot hinge? I had posted a similar question tagged to the end of another post from someone in general chat, to no avail and I'm really hoping to find a solution so I can order and build. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help
You should be able to sand the nubs off the bottom of the 4040 hinges and use them, as the slot patterns differ (T slot has a single slot, VSlot has two slots)
Ok, thanks I was leaning towards this approach, i worry over time it will be vulnerable to twisting but to be seen. Thanks for the input,
4040 vslot has 4 mounting holes, 10mm in from the edges on the corners. If you drill them into the hinges it wont be able to twist, use more than one screw
