    BE sure that the main plate have 155mm wide on your CAM software before cutting, the svg files trend to miss scale

    1/4 in thick 6.35mm

    You’re killing it with these builds! Hopefully in the spring I’ll be able to give building the 50w laser a try and build this to go along with it!!

    thanks, for he 50w think about it, if you really want to build or have one because is out know a 60w china for 1500.

    Yours clearly works, and is built to be reliable. Those Chinese ones all over eBay I don’t trust as much. I’m mainly wanting a laser for engraving glasses, mugs, and acrylic so the 50w is probably overkill but oh well.

    Here's mine. I changed it a little bit. Made it so the Nema 17 Mounts to the same plate as the rollers. I should have this finished up this week.

    Yeah to me that makes more sense to have 1 plate. I wonder what the logic is to have it seperated like that?

    I would guess to put the flexible coupling, which I think is not really necessary in this build.
