felt confident that I had read enough documentation to start wiring the vfd without running into problems. But I popped open the front cover on the YL620-A and noticed that my vfd looked slightly different than most of the reference material I had researched. So can someone verify my mock up picture/drawing? Jump FWD and XGND and 10V and GND to “toolhead” plug on BB. *Also noticed I drew the colors backwards on the 10V and GND wires*

If it’s good I’ll wire it up and move one. Super close to test cuts

Not that long ago, I was looking at purchasing that one over the HY version due to it being cheaper and i did not need tall the features the HY has. I did a Google search on it and found various threads and videos on hooking it up. Also, Amazon sells the kit and several reviewers describe exactly how they solved the hookup. Amazon customer reviews are a great source of technical knowledge sometimes. I will often read a bunch even if I purchase elsewhere. However, this is for the 110 v version which is what I want. The hookups should be similar. https://www.amazon.com/MYSWEETY-Coo...110+volt+1.5+kw+spindle&qid=1570464139&sr=8-2

Did that set up work for you with your spindle? I have the same vfd and trying to make sure I wire it correctly. Thanks in advance

Do you have your black box jumper on the m8/m9 jumper. You only had to put the red and black wires into those ports you didn’t have to do the fwd/com

    Jump XGBD and FWD

then on “toolhead” plug on BB pin 1 gnd to gnd on vfd and pin 4 0-10v to VI1 on vfd

and it’s M3/M5 in the BB

    Making
You wouldn't happen to have a summary of the VFD setting to make that work (with just the 0-10v signal, no need to relay FWD)

We have a proven setup for Hunyuang VFDs here: VFD Spindle Control via OpenBuilds BlackBox Controller and Software
So if you have a moment to do a similar writeup for the YL620-A I'd happily link it in the docs too: OpenBuilds BlackBox 4X Documentation

I would! Give me a few and I’ll type it up. You want a new thread, or in here?
