Hi, I’m working on my new @Kyo Sphinx CNC 600x800 and now it’s time to make my custom controller box. I have made a framework of 20x20 V-slot profiles. See picture. So, my question for you is: What should I do with the sides/top/bottom? MDF, Plexi, aluminium, other? Mount the plates/sides inside/outside of the framework or in the slots? Have you done any similar projects and maybe have some pictures?
I'd vote for Plexi, which, can be held in the slots inside the frames, with some Slot Cover / Panel Holder strips OpenBuilds Part Store (insert them slot-side up, make a nice gasket to hold 1/8th Acrylic) Acrylic: Materials - Cast Acrylic - OpenBuilds Part Store - i'd throw in a clear panel or two and some RGB LED strips (;
