I am new with my 1050 and did my first project. I surfaced my spoilboard using the Openbuilds Control program. I first checked to make sure each of my limit switches were recognized by the program. It did the surfacing great but I noticed it broke 2 limit switches during the process. Alex just told me I should have enabled $ options which I did not know about. Is that what i did wrong?
Grbl Settings > Hard Limits > Enable (also soft limits, and max travel would be beneficial settings to tweak) Refer gnea/grbl for all the details of the Grbl Configurations, do read the whole Grbl wiki (even pages you think you don't need to know about, contains valuable info of how it works, so do yourself the favour to read all the pages on that Wiki) Of course if you were hitting it during a surfacing operation your sizes entered into the wizard was wrong too: measure your actual travel distances and surface the workable area
