After getting the Whiteside 1" CNC Spoilboard Surfacing bit, I ran the Surfacing Wizard in OpenBuild Control and found out that the bit isn't perfectly trammed to the MDF board. I was afraid to screw the MDF board to the machine's bed. How can I tram the Z-Axis and fasten the MDF board to the machine's bed? I have a modified LEAD machine.

Watch from about 5m07sec onward, tilting the gantry rail at 6:40 is an awesome trick

After watching the video above and another video at , it almost worked but the Z-Axis isn't still perfectly trammed to the MDF board but it was better than before. I 3D-printed the motor mount for my Makita trim router because OpenBuilds don't have one.

All a matter of finding a place to adjust, or modify a part to allow adjustment as needed... The principles are what Winston's video reflects well.

Any chance the 3D printer was not square in Z? Else that could explain it being off - causing the offset

Old thread, but I'm curious if anyone knows exactly which screws to loosen so I could perform the same action that the video shows? I'm racking my brain trying to figure it out. If you've got pictures, that would be great or I could provide and someone point them out to me.
