Mach 3 on Blackbox 1510

    Tryin to run Mach 3 on my 1510 with blackbox.

    Any pointers on setup would be much appreciated.

    Mach 3 does not work with the Blackbox. Blackbox uses the free Opensource GRBL software.

    Is there any other driver software besides the Openbuilds driver that can stop and start/restart files mid cut?

    Estlcam is what I use and it works great. Estlcam: 2D / 3D CAM und CNC Steuerung... It has tool change functions and lots of probing functions. I start and stop files in mid cut all the time. I do all of my drilling first while the workpiece is clamped down. Then, I stop the file and jog the spindle and gantry away from the work piece and screw it down using the newly drilled holes. As soon as it is fastened down, I resume the job.

    Estlcam works with the Blackbox. Just set it up as an Arduino using grbl 1.1.
