Hi, can anyone help me out with the setting for the VFD YL620-A2.2KW 220V and 2.2KW water cooled spindle? I bought my spindle and VFD 5 years ago and never used them, however I've now fitted them on a CNC router and the VFD failed so trying to add the VFD YL620-A2.2KW 220V but don't want to damage the spindle. I have done a factory reset P0.13 =10 many thanks Allan
I've just found this sheet that is to the VFD I have, I've set as listed but not sure about the middle & low frequency & voltage settings, they don't look right to me, I'll attach a copy, hopefully it will work thanks Allan
I've seen a post with these setting? P00.00 – 50Hz P00.04 VF highest output frequency – 400Hz P00.05 VF maximum voltage output frequency - 400Hz P00.06 VF highest output voltage – 100% P00.07 VF middle frequency – 200Hz P00.08 VF middle voltage – 50% P00.09 VF minimum frequency - 120Hz P00.10 VF minimum voltage – 30% but the manual say's P00.00 – 50Hz P00.04 VF highest output frequency – 400Hz P00.05 VF maximum voltage output frequency - 400Hz P00.06 VF highest output voltage – 100% P00.07 VF middle frequency – 40Hz P00.08 VF middle voltage – 10% P00.09 VF minimum frequency - 4.0Hz P00.10 VF minimum voltage – 1% confusing!
Don't run an air-cooled spindle below 120Hz, you'll cook the windings. Water-cooled can go down to 80-100Hz, I think. Manual is most likely either giving examples or is showing what the unit is capable of, not what you should use. Middle frequency I would guess is the middle frequency in your spindle's V/F response chart, that corresponds to halfway between its min and max RPMs. I wouldn't want to swear to that though.
Ask the vendor you purchased it from. Those values have to match the motors requirements. We can't confirm (if it blows up its on whoever confirmed the settings right). Vendor advice, or read the manual and decide when you feel comfortable the parameters are correct.
It's from Amazon, I've asked for the settings but no response, My spindle is the water cooled version, the technical Specifications are: Dimensions: 80*260 mm (Diameter:80mm x Length:260mm) Power: 2.2 KW Voltage: 220V~250V Frequency: 400 Hz Speed: 4000-24000 R/min Water Cooling ER20 collet chuck Custom high performance Bearings Grease Lubrication Technical Specifications for Variable Frequency Drive Inverter Input Voltage: 220±15% Output Voltage – 208-240VAC Input Frequency: 48-63 Hz Output Frequency: 0-400 Hz Input Phase: both single and 3 phase input Output Phase: 3 phase 0 to 400Hz I think these settings seem abut right in the example I found P00.00 – 50Hz P00.04 VF highest output frequency – 400Hz P00.05 VF maximum voltage output frequency - 400Hz P00.06 VF highest output voltage – 100% P00.07 VF middle frequency – 200Hz P00.08 VF middle voltage – 50% P00.09 VF minimum frequency - 120Hz P00.10 VF minimum voltage – 30%
Hi I bought the high torque kit from openbuilds was wanting to run power supply with 220v but only 110v cord supplied can I wire that with two hots and neutral? Because I got case for power supply and want to use it
Ok I can run 220v though openbuilds case instructions only mention flipping switch on power supply. Using the supplied power cord correct?
If you are in North America, where we have a 110v/220v system you can do it. Connect the supply wires just like you would if it were 110v. Just make sure you have the switch on the power supply set to 220v.
