    Hi All

I am trying to convert an old chemistry synthesiser into a 3D printer. If I get it all working, I should end up with a build volume of around 1200 x 300 x 300mm.

I am slowly working through how to wire it all up. If people are interested, I'll post some photos.

My question at the moment relates to kinematics, I am using Marlin, with an MKS Gen V1.4 board.

Which 'CORE' do I use? Mechanically, the print head itself will be moved in three dimensions and have a fixed bed. I think I use COREXY.

X and Y are belt driven, Z uses a small belt to drive gears on a vertical, toothed, shaft.

Thank you for any help provided.

    Philip
