I was running a small job yesterday and the first part of the job, the lettering went very well. I changed my bit to do a cut out of the job and very soon into it the job stopped and would not reconnect. Every time I tried to connect I received an "Access denied" message. I shut down my Openbuilds software, started it up and the Yes I could connect to my Black Box. Zeroed everything again and started the job again and this time after about the fifth pass of a seven pass operation it did it again. I can't figure out why, never had this problem in the past, no error codes on the Black Box were present. Before the job our MODEM and ROUTER were upgraded in the morning just before I started running the project. Could that effect it? Steve aka Ampman Thank you in advance
Checkout docs:blackbox:faq-emi [OpenBuilds Documentation] The access denied clue is strong evidence of an EMI induced USB port shutdown or, could be that you missed section 4.2 of the BlackBox Docs
Thank you Peter for your reply, I have been running the same setup for a few months now and never had the problem before, will change in weather have any effect with my CNC is in a outside workshop and with Southern Ontario summer weather being hot and very humid. I am using the USB cable that came with my Black Box, and it is along with my Meanwell Power supply are mounted to the frame rails of my machine, could that be a problem? Steve aka Ampman Thank you again
