So I posted a while back about mounting my cnc on the wall to save space. I did have to rotate the machine to make it work in my space. it works great just finished my first project no prblems. I bought a balancing spring to have just in case I started having problems, so far none
Pics are in the first stage more to come.

Looks promising. It's basically a horizontal now, though admittedly without most of the advantages of large horizontals. It does retain the one main advantage of an HMC over a VMC though: chip evacuation!

Two things I'd be inclined to keep in mind, though you're probably already thinking about them: 1) finishing cuts, be very careful about tabbing and centers of gravity so that parts can't slip into the tool, and 2) clamping; you can't rely on the large friction surface of the underside of your sheet blanks to help clamp any more, the weight is on the narrow edge and it'll slide easily, so more positive stops are probably gonna be helpful in addition to clamping.

Keep the spring on hand and monitor the long-term operating temperature of those Y axis motors, as well. My 12Nm NEMA 34 still gets hot from constantly braking my mill's spindle head. Gonna be even worse when I rail-convert that axis.
