Hello. I have a problem with the laser. while engraving, the laser does not move smoothly and stops for a second. Does anyone have any idea what kaman is about? is it a question of settings? I attach a photo with dots.
To sum up: the laser goes as normal, stops for a moment and continues on. I have no idea where to start.

Post your Grbl settings please. CONTROL > grbl settings tab > Backup Grbl Settings (lets make sure advanced motion settings weren't changed)

Also make sure your GCODE uses M4 Dynamic power: Grbl v1.1 Laser Mode · gnea/grbl Wiki

Tip: The Backup Grbl Settings button on the toolbar of that window makes for an easier to read and access text file :)

Your CAM has to add that to the header. What laser CAM are you using?

So in Settings > Settings > under Toolhead, make sure you have the Dynamic laser (M4) option

Friend, I entered the settings but I don't see this option. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

I asked what CAM application you were using, right:
    To which you said:
Thus my advice on how to set it up in OpenBuildsCAM. But now

Your screenshot shows OpenBuildsCONTROL (Not OpenBuildsCAM)
You are in the wrong application.

Go to OpenBuilds CAM > Settings tab > Settings button

    upload_2021-12-20_18-22-59.png

    Then setup Tool Initialisation:

I walked in and had empty fields. It was turned off. Should I also select M3 / M5?

No, that will cause the corners to burn. Please read: Grbl v1.1 Laser Mode · gnea/grbl Wiki
as mentioned a lot earlier in this thread:

If you have a spindle controlled by software, you have to come in here, remove the laser, add the spindle, when you are setting up routing jobs. Right tool settings for the job at hand
