    Hi Everyone,
I was gifted a used Cnc router table without a router. I believe it is an early version of a work bee 1510 but am having trouble confirming that. My issue is finding a router that will fit the router mount. The router mount is 68mm diameter. I have a Makita compact router that has a body diameter of 65mm. I purchased the open builds adapter ring only to find it’s outer dia. is 71mm and will not fit into the mount. I see that there is a router mount I can purchase which will hold the adapter and router but I am not sure if it will mount to the z axis. I am very new to this and without mounting specs I don’t know if I have C beam or V slot mounting. I have attached pictures and could use any advice. Thanks.

That is an Openbuilds Ox. I do not believe it was ever sold as a kit. OpenBuilds OX CNC Machine If you go to the "builds" section of the forum and scroll way down under CNC ROUTER BUILDS | OpenBuilds, you will find all kinds of Ox builds. You need to go back a few years worth of builds though. My version of the Ox was a lead screw driven version with two 2080 Vslot extrusions bolted together for the X axis vs the original 2060 Vslot extrusions. It is still going strong on all the original parts after 6 1/2 years of use.

Your Z xis is a 2060 Vslot extrusion and according to this picture, it should work. An example is shown on the left. There are two sets of mounting holes on tit. 2 of the holes are 60mm apart for 2080 extrusion and two are 40mm apart for 2060 extrusion. [IMG]
