Hi all, My machine is an Openbuilds 1510 that I converted to lead screw around 18 months ago, I'm currently quoting for some work that involves 95mm high timber blocks that need motifs carved into the top of them, the current machine will just accommodate these blocks if I remove the spoiler board or make a hole through the spoiler board and clamp the work to the bench under the machine. This seems a faff about. I've been looking at the Z height mod that is available but I'm not sure it would work with my machine as my X gantry plates look different, the X beam is directly attached to the gantry plate unlike to C beam models, I think it would involve new X gantry plates to convert it to C beam? Maybe I'm just being daft but it looks like quite a bit of work is required to convert my 1510 and any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated. I'm located in the UK and imported my 1510 directly from Openbuilds in 2021, I can buy parts from Ooznest here in the UK but they don't appear to sell the height mod kit, so would have to import again, I'm happy to do that but the import duties here in the UK are now getting ridiculous. TIA.
Based on past posts, its a genuine OB Workbee. I added 2" to mine with custom plates from @Chris Laidlaw .
