My workspace is a portion of my garage, which is 10' wide x 40' long. I'd like to change up the size of my cnc router (currently a workbee 1010) to the Lead 1515. Due to the size of my workspace (and the ridiculous amount of tools that I have stuffed in it) I have basically run out of room. I was thinking that if I could build a torsion box table and mount it to hinges on the wall, then pull out the bottom edge of the table so it makes a 30, maybe 45 degree angle to the wall, that I could save space in the garage, yet still be able to use the cnc router. This all depends, of course, on if the lead 1515 would work well in that kind of setup. I was thinking the y axis would be (perpendicular/ pointing into the wall?) to help in alleviating the effects of gravity. Has anyone tried this with any level of success? Thanks, Joe
