Hey peeps, I want to sandwich 2 xl gantry plates on each side of the c channel but I don't know which spacers and poly lengths to order. Has anyone done this that can give me the parts I need to join the plates?
If you're referring to the standard X or Y gantry stack, there is a 9mm spacer between the wheels and a 6mm spacer each side outboard of the wheels. There is also generally a 1mm spacer each end of the stack, up against the plates. If that's not what you're referring to, we're gonna need a sketch to understand what you're asking. Poly?
Sorry, I got the 1mm washers backwards. They should be between the 6mm shims and the wheels as shown. The bolts are 65mm and you need a Slot Washer - 15x5x2mm - OpenBuilds Part Store on the back side under the nut.
