Congratulations, but I think this was a missed opportunity to build HQ out of Vslot extrusion. I like the paint job.
The signage is photoshopped at the moment, to see what you guys think? If we do it this way, my plan is to grab a projector and shine it on the wall one night, tracing the lines with a marker. Then come back and paint it in the am.
I did not even think about that but your right, it is cool how that worked out Now comes the hard part doing it! Also, per Ricks suggestion, we got so caught up in the excitement we forgot we need to check in with the local township and make sure they are cool with the signage overall.
you need to infect a township comittee members with the CNC bug, then you can do anything you like (-:
You know what time it is @David the swarfer Already working on it! had a walk through with their Team early on and they are really impressed with the company and its mission. No one can resist the fun and satisfaction of self-made, that this hobby offers!
Check it out, we are working on an actuator wall to better share the OpenBuilds system with visitors. We are going to make some of the actuators moving as well.
Thanks brother! We are excited and feel that this will really help inspire some ideas to anyone that comes in
and the controller will have proximity and motion sensors so the motion is triggered by someone stepping near (motion sensor), and speed is controlled by the distance, closer makes it go slower of course. right?
Alright where's the bug? lol that's too funny man! We literary talked about doing this exact thing to make it come alive for the visitors.
That rather depends on the controller you are using - you need to use a post processor which is compatible with the controller you have. Alex.
Then you need to use a grbl post processor. If there isn't one listed (cam programmes will often have metric and imperial versions) you will have to contact the vendor you got creo cam from. Alex.
