I am working on shadowing a tool container that some tools will pass through several layers of foam while most will only occupy a single layer. What is the easiest way to ensure proper alignment of each layer when cutting?
I am using Lightburn for my control software.

@Gizmo6 Use foam slightly larger and cut the profile of each layer as well as the tool holes. Or, make a jig so that the same corner of the foam is always at the same XY zero point. If your laser can cut through several at a time, cut through those pieces and then align the single layer piece at that same XY zero point I mentioned above.

I would burn aligment holes in the corners and stick dowels throguh the holes to align for gluiing
