I am using Window 11 and Vectric X-carve desktop and OpenBuilds control as my sender. When in Vectric I have the model centered on the work material. However, when OpenBuilds sends the model to the router it is no longer centered. In the picture of the carve the bottom is about 1/8" from the edge. One side is 1/4" the other side is 5/8" and the top is 3/4" from the side.
I'm I missing something in the design or setup? The material is 11.1875" square.

How are you setting your workplace zero? Please tell us step-by-step what you do.

Oops! Sorry, I am using the OpenBuilds probe that came with Control in the lower left corner. I follow the directions that show when you click on the Probe button in OpenBuilds Control.

Control doesnt make any decisions, it only does what the gcode file tells it to do. My guess is that your machine isnt calibrated. Have you gone through the calibration procedure to ensure your machine is moving the commanded distance? If not, use the Calibration tools in the Wizard and Tool menu in Control.

I did do that when I first got the machine, however, I will re-calibrate to see if that is the problem. Never thought of doing that. Thank You!!!

Now that I think about it, it seem pretty far off to be a calibration issue. I'd also double check to make sure you put in the correct bit diameter when you did your probing.

since it is too close to the left and bottom, it is -- as Shawn mentioned above -- most likely that you input the wrong diameter tool for probing. This leads to the machine thinking it is further away from the corner than it really is so it starts cutting sooner. This is a common error (for me). So common that I do it almost all the time. :) It can really mess you up if you choose the wrong one between an 8mm and 3mm endmill. I keep telling myself that it would stop happening if I just always zeroed for XandY with my 1/4" Vermont gage pin but lazyness takes over.

After probing, GOTOZERO: Is the "CENTER" of the bit right over the bottom corner of the stock?
Then, if you send the machine to X and Y both 11.1875" (Use the DROs, Jogging, or Serial Terminal whatever you like) - is the CENTER of the Bit directly over the top right corner of the stock?

The bit is centered on the lower left but off on the upper right.

So sound like its one of three things...

    Your board isnt : 11.1875 x 11.1875
You didnt send the machine to X11.1875 Y11.875
    Your machine isnt calibrated
